Hensman "Domus Dos" Los Angeles, CA 1980

This is the second house Don Hensman built for himself. A very challenging, steeply varied lot. Conrad and Don devised this unique 3-column design as they drove from the lot back to the office.

The major living spaces are all on the top level, with guest accommodation at the middle level and the automobile at the bottom.

It was always important to keep the automobile away from regular view.
