Buff Residence, Pasadena, CA 1981
A gem of a house designed and built by Conrad Buff for he and his wife Libby. In the foothills above Pasadena, this house is compact and straightforward with imaginative use of the space.
As you arrive in the motor court, the main house is hidden. Entering a stained glass door and climbing the stairs delivers you to the pool court and the front of the house.
A bridge across the pool meets a large covered loggia that is followed by the dining and living areas.
